The Lovely Bones (book and film)
Genre: Novel and Drama

My rating: 8.7 of 10 stars

Favourite character: Ruth Conners

If you don't know what the meaning of the word 'contrast', then read it.
Honestly, in some parts of the book, the most complicated and twisted parts, truly, they are the most moving, spine tingling parts. Sometimes, I had to literally force my brain to concentrate, to listen to what Susie was telling me! I only did it because I knew how incredible the outcome would be.
I know it's only a book, but what a book, what a plot.
If you want one piece of advise, read it first. To put it bluntly, it is so much better. To not put it bluntly, it is very different. In my opinion, the film version was..well..a little lazy. Basically, things that were complex and needed imagination and thoughts, they just didn't happen in the film. Is that enough explanation until you see for yourself? I hope you'll agree with me.

Do you believe in ghosts?

Tangled (film)
Genre: Family/Comedy/Adventure

My rating: 7.2 out of 10

Favourite character: Maximus

Think animated rom-com about a young dreamy girl who wants to find love. She finds it, and they all live happily ever after. Now turn that upside town, and viola, you have Tangled!
With the protagonist named Rapunzel, one may presume the classic tale of Rapunzel is just being retold through animation, via Disney. But, it's completely not, it's loosely strung on the idea of a baby who grows up to have magical hair that heals everything from cuts to weak lungs.
Flynn Rider, an 'undercover' thief, comes across Rapunzel's tower when hiding from top hunter horse, Maximus. Of course, after eighteen years of no social contact other than her witch-like 'mother', she has no idea how to react.
After time, Flynn, who later introduces himself as Eugene Fitzherbert, falls for Rapunzel (but, really, who wouldn't?) and takes her to live her dream, on one term: for him to get satchel back that Rapunzel stole earlier. "Why is the satchel so important?", well, you'll have to watch it to find out ;)

But, do they live happily ever after?
